Expanding the Scope of Novel Dual-Color Photoinitiators
Dual-color volumetric 3D printing is an advanced additive manufacturing technique that facilitates the creation of intricate structures. At the core of the dual-color photoinitiating systems are photoswitches, which allow the spatiotemporal control of the polymerization process. Modulation of these photoswitches allows the fine-tuning of the photophysical properties, thereby enhancing the printing quality, and expands the range of accessible materials. Jordan`s main research topic is developing novel dual-color photoswitches, aimed at enabling dual-color cationic polymerization.
