Developing New Dual-Color Photoinitiator
By using light-based technology to control chemical reactions, Xolography allows for the creation of complex geometries and fine details with unmatched precision. The incorporation of dual-color photoinitiators (DCPIs) provides enhanced control over the curing process, resulting in improved resolution and overall print quality. However, despite the significant advancements in this emerging field, there are still limitations that can be overcome. The development and implementation of new DCPIs could further refine the process, offering even greater precision in localizing and controlling the photopolymerization, ultimately pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in 3D printing.
