30.04.2018 Smart amine sensing probes

After discovering that nucleophiles induce a fast decoloration reaction of ring-closed diarylethenes, the team of Sebastian, Aurelio, and Virginia implemented enhanced reactivity, catalytic amplification, amine-thiol discrimination, and fluorescence read-out to improve their sensing method significantly with regard to both sensitivity and selectivity.
