Exploiting our recently developed photocontrolled Diels-Alder reaction to dynamically crosslink polymer chains, Anne has developed a new type of smart plastic coating, which can thermally heal damages in areas selected by illumination with light. The work has just appeared in Nature Communications - congratulations!
