The team of our long-term collaborator Leonhard Grill (Grill group @ University of Graz) has been able to shuttle some of our terfluorene molecules along exactly defined tracks. Individual molecules can be transported reliably between sender and receiver tips of a scanning tunneling microscope, thus the term "molecular telegraphy". The study has just appeared as this weeks cover story of Science.
