27.09.2020 Light-powered logical actuators

The work of Kim, who has been spending a few month with us synthesizing diarylethene photoswitches during his undergraduate studies, has led to a nice publication with the Priimägi Group. For the first time, we describe light-driven actuators with a logical AND gate function that undergo profound shape changes only when illuminated with both UV and visible light. Congratulations Kim!
