23.09.2013 Controlling charge recombination with light
By bridging (extended) tetrathiafulvalene donor and fullerene acceptor moieties with a photoswitchable dithienylethene, light can be used not only to promote charge transfer but also to control the lifetime of the charge-separated state. The work has been carried out in a collaboration with the groups of Nazario Martin (Madrid) and Dirk Guldi (Erlangen) and will appear in an upcoming issue of Angewandte Chemie. Congratulations Sonia!
